Officiants

From Humanists, to Celebrants, to interfaith ministers, to DJs who are also wedding ministers, to rock 'n' roll reverends who will read your vows from The Princess Bride... these are our favorite offbeat wedding officiants.

Dupree Weddings, Gatherings & Rituals

Reverend Katherine Dupree is a queer SBNR wedding officiant here to fulfill your unconventional wedding dreams. She creates authentic ceremonies and elopements for individuals, couples, throuples and the like of all backgrounds and traditions. Be it romantic, spiritual, lighthearted, refined, silly, crass or unconventional… your ceremony should honor YOU. Let's make some fuckin memories, shall we?

The Reverend D

I know exactly what it's like to wander from the beaten wedding aisle and I love helping other brides create their own unique traditions. I go out of my way to make the process fun and stress-free, and I am open to any ideas you're willing to throw at me. Because at the end of the day, *you* are what will make your wedding unique. So essentially, my job is to help you express you.

Running Reverend

Rev Melissa is an ordained minister providing services as a wedding officiant that are as unique as her clients, their relationships, and their love stories. Clients from the fullness of the LGBTQ+ spectrum are welcome and enthusiastically affirmed. Religious, non-religious, and interfaith, multi-faith, agnostic, and atheist wedding celebrations. Previous marriages, kids, living together, families formed in alternative ways — all welcome.

Michele Zipp, Ritualist

I am a non-denominational Ordained Minister, Reiki Master, writer, and love storyteller. In 2011, my best friends asked me to officiate their wedding and that began my journey into this ritual. More friends asked. Friends of friends asked. And then word spread and I met with couples who became new friends. I love the ritual of weddings and the magic of ceremony.

Savannah Custom Weddings & Elopements

I am not your ordinary Southeastern wedding officiant, and that is by design and circumstance. I decided to become an officiant in 2014 when I couldn’t find someone to officiate my own wedding. I wanted someone experienced, independent from a church, who had a modern and creative vibe to her and offered ceremony content focused on romance, adventure & teamwork.

Magical Weddings by Carly

Gender non-conforming, intersectional feminist, geek, nerd, Hufflepuff, dog parent seeks same (or completely different!) people in need of a wedding officiant. Secular, spiritual, or religious; all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles (including ethical non-monogamy) welcomed and celebrated! I’m an ordained minister in the Universal Brotherhood Movement, have a Masters degree from Duke Divinity School, and am certified through the Equality Institute’s LGBT+ Wedding Course.
