Offbeat Brides are my people! I want to fully document your days. I will arrive three or four days before the wedding, shoot engagement sessions, families, luncheons, cook outs, strip joints, bars, churches, dinners, croquet matches, wherever the bride and groom, or the groom and groom, or the bride and bride go, I will be there with camera in hand.
My friends know me as the girl obsessed with rainbows, bows and hearts. My daughter's name is Whimsy Bliss, if that tells you anything about me at all. I bring a costume deer mask to most of my shoots — you know, just in case the moment strikes me. It's my goal to one day have rainbow hair. Or at least photograph a bride with rainbow hair (hint hint, rainbow bride! I know you're out there!). My husband, who always shoots with me, is very laid back and relaxed, balancing me out perfectly. Together, our photographic style utilizes the best of traditional and creative photography to give our clients the most unique experience possible.
Photography for cool kids. It is as simple as that. Greetings! We're Mike n' Courtney and we take pictures. Not just any type of pictures though…totally awesome pictures. Why do we say that? Because we work with the coolest couples around.
Hi there! I'm Myles Katherine and I'm a cat-obsessed, purple-haired photographer with a whole lot of creative energy. I shoot both film and digital photography, using cameras such as: Holga, Polaroid, Diana F+, and a Canon 5D Mark II. My work is typically described as unconventional, which is perfect for an Offbeat Bride, if you ask me! I also dabble in fashion photography, so I'm always up for incorporating fashion-inspired ideas into shoots. I am based in Portland, Oregon but I will travel anywhere, anytime!
I've always had a love of nostalgia and find myself constantly drawn to photography which has a sort of timeless quality to it. That's what I endeavour to create with my photography, a memory time capsule, so to speak. My favorite shots are the stolen ones, the moments in between, the moments you weren't expecting and never planned. Those are the moments that tell the story of your wedding day.
We're a duo of photographers based in Los Angeles and Seattle (we’re always back and forth), but willing to travel ANYWHERE. We take a nontraditional, photojournalistic approach to all of our work, while at the same time incorporating our personal artistic style.
I am a lady of many hats: when not working as the Managing Editor of Offbeat Mama, I'm also a wedding and lifestyle photographer! One of my absolute favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to meet so many incredible couples. I love working with couples that bring the funk and fun.
