Justine Johnson Photography
Hi! My name is Justine, and I'm a professional wedding and portrait photographer based in New England (but willing, and excited, to travel all over the world!). I'm extremely laid-back, passionate and professional. I do this because of my love of photography and my love of people. I want to know who you are as people, as a couple. I want to know what inspired the style of wedding you're having, what made you choose a certain location, what the story is behind that selection of music. I want to photograph your love, your excitement, your hope — all exactly the way it happened.
I'm a very "hands off" photographer, and I appreciate the beauty in the unplanned. My style is unobtrusive yet intimate, capturing all the spontaneous emotions and intricate details of the day all while barely being noticed. I believe in getting to know my clients as people, not just as customers, and I want to talk to YOU!
I felt so blessed and lucky to have found Justine. I saw her work online and was amazed. She is able to capture like no other photographer I have seen. So many of our wedding photos are saturated with feeling and emotion. Just make sure your wedding is great enough to deserve her talents — you will be blown away!

How I cater to Offbeat Brides
Well, firstly, I am INSANELY excited to photograph anything offbeat. Whether it be your wedding (or commitment ceremony/civil union), an engagement session, a Rock the Dress session… I'm in! Having your bridesmaids wear bright rainbow dresses? Awesome! Doing a comic book-themed reception, complete with themed drinks and capes? Amazing! Wearing an (insert wild color here) wedding dress? Fantastic! Simply throwing all caution (and traditions) to the wind and customizing the day so it fits you and your fiance? I am ALL about that.
Secondly… I'm a firm believer that weddings come in all different shapes and sizes that cannot be predicted or squeezed into differently sized packages. You might want me to photograph 1 hour of your wedding day… or maybe you want 10. You might be having your ceremony on the beach, in a museum, on top of a mountain, on a bowling lane, or in your favorite bar. You might be having 1 guest, or perhaps you'll have 400+, all dancing their heads off and being wild.
I am more than happy to talk with you one-on-one about what you envision for the day and what you're looking for as far as coverage and extras go, and make sure you get a package that's 100% what you want and need — nothing more and nothing less.
